Little Em's Apendix (Is that how you spell it?)

My sister Emily started getting sick on Monday.
Things were not getting better, when Wed she was admitted to the hospital to have her appendix taken out. Once the doc's got in there they found it had already ruptured.

Luckily it was blocked by other organs and the infection had not blown out. She really is quite a trooper. And has the heart shaped bandages to show it. The doctor said she could go home today, but once she heard that she suddenly didn't feel so well.

I think the delivered food, personal remote, sponge bath and hospital bed made her want to stay on her little vacation one more day.

This evening she did take a little stroll down the hall. One lap was all she was up for. Thanks for giving your left over mashed potatoes to the kids, and the turkey, and the tomato soup. ;) Love you sweetie. Sorry you had to go through this but so happy you are on the mend.
